Kindergarten is a magical year for children. It is a year filled with fun memories and tremendous growth. In kindergarten your child will begin to learn basic skills to become a self-motivated, independent learner. We will learn organizational skills in both thinking and assigned work. We will develop positive work habits. We will also work with the kids to gain self-confidence and further their imagination, creativity, and religious sensitivity. Our motto in kindergarten is to always "try your best!"
We bring learning to life through our engaging themes! Whether it's learning the five senses during our apple unit, or exploring fact vs fiction in our dinosaur unit, we utilize an integrated approach to learning. Our small class size and amazing full-time aides allow us to maximize our differentiation to meet all learning styles. Students develop strong bonds with their peers as they learn to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and care for others. We build a strong classroom community that extends to our entire St. Anthony School family.
Kindergarten memories at St. Anthony School truly last a lifetime. Our graduating 8th graders look back fondly on the pumpkin patch field trip, Thanksgiving feast, Nativity play, fiesta, and visit to Saltwater State Park. It is a year for building relationships, nurturing academic growth, and solidifying confidence and a love for learning.
